This Privacy Policy explains how Guards BD ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and Android application (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

Account information: your mobile phone number (used for sign-in) and your name.
Alert email: an optional email address where intruder alerts and captured photos are sent.
Emergency contacts: names and phone numbers you choose to add so we can share alerts on your behalf.
Device & security data: intruder selfies, device model, and location information captured only when protection is triggered.
Payment information: subscription plan, amount, and order timestamps. We do not ask you for a Transaction ID or sender number, and we do not store your full payment credentials.

2. How we use your information

To create and secure your account and provide anti-theft features.
To send intruder alerts, selfies and location to you and your contacts.
To process and manage your subscription.
To provide support and improve the Service.

3. How your data is stored

Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage). Security rules restrict access so that your account data, selfies and location history are accessible only to you.

4. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal data. Location and alerts are shared only with the emergency contacts you configure. We may share data with service providers (such as Firebase and payment gateways) strictly to operate the Service, or when required by law.

5. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

6. Your rights

You can access, update, or delete your personal information from your account settings or by contacting us at support@guardsbd.com.

7. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
